Walt Disney World® Vacation Planning List
Good planning is essential for a relaxing vacation to Disney World. We are here to assist you with advance planning and dining reservations. Our Planning services are at no additional cost to you.
Book Your Trip:
The first step is booking your vacation. We can assist you with all of the exciting details of choosing the vacation package that will best suite your family.
A $200 deposit is required to make your vacation reservation. Your final payment for your Magic Your Way vacation package is due 30 days before the date of your arrival. If you booked a Room-Only vacation your payment will be due at check-in to your Disney Resort Hotel.
Payments can be made at any time with a minimum of $20. You may use a Disney Gift Card or any major Credit Card including the Disney Visa Rewards Card.
If you are thinking of flying to Disney World, you will want to keep your eye on airfare deals. Some people actually book their airfare first deciding their date range according to when they can get the best deal on airfare.
My Disney Experience:
Just as soon as you have confirmed your reservation by making your deposit, be sure to go to www.startyourdisneyexperience.com and sign up for an account if you don’t already have one. Once you are logged in to your account, link your reservation using your reservation number that will be on the confirmation that I email to you.
Important: be sure that you create your Disney Experience / MyMagic+ account using the exact name & email of the lead guest on your reservation. Then use that account to make all of your reservations & pre-purchases such as Memory Maker.
Vacations can be costly and often times when things go wrong right before or during your vacation travel insurance can take the sting out of a potential disaster. Now is the time to think about Travel Insurance. I can add Disney Insurance to your trip at the time you book your trip. If you are interested in outside insurance, there may be some perks to purchasing your travel insurance within 14 days of your initial trip deposit.
190 Days Prior to your trip:
Now is the time to start thinking about and planning Table Service dining. Take the time to review your dining options especially if you are on a dining plan; we can help offer suggestions and make your reservations for you when you are ready. You will want to plan ahead if you want to make Advance Dining Reservations 180 days in advance.
180 Days Prior to your trip:
Starting today you can make your Advanced Dining Reservations for your choice of Table Service Restaurants around Walt Disney World®. If you have booked a Magic Your Way® Package with Dining or a Premium/Platinum Plan you will want to make Advanced Dining Reservations for your table service meals in order to get the best selection in culinary delights that Disney® has to offer.
Some Dining Experiences will need to me secured by a Major Credit Card to hold your reservation and you will be charged if you don’t show up for your reservation. Some Dining Experiences require the use of 2 Table Service Credits if you are using a dining plan; so please be aware of this before making a request for a reservation.
Popular Restaurants reservations fill up early. So booking 180 days in advance provides you with the best opportunity to get your preferred choices. I will attempt to book all of your requests, but cannot guarantee that you will get all of the specific reservations that you want. So be sure to have a backup plan such as, flexible times, flexible date and alternative restaurants.
You can make your dining reservations online by using your My Disney Experience account at www.MyDisneyExperience.com
Dining Reservation must be credit card secured and you will be charged a $10 per person fee if you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation time or no show.
If you would like me to assist you with Advanced Dining Reservations or other activities, please send me an email with your requests.

Disney World Park Tours are a great way to add learning, inspiration and adventure to your vacation. There are numerous tours in all of the parks such as the Behind the Seeds Tour in Epcot, The Wild Africa Trek in Animal Kingdom or the Key’s to the Kingdom Tour in Magic Kingdom. Some of these tours may not book out as far as 180 days; some you may be able to get tickets to only one day prior, but if you have one that you have your heart set on, then now is the time to start planning your reservation.
Tours have a 1 to 2 day cancellation policy.

You can Check-In Online to your Resort 60 days prior to your arrival. You can make any requests like a Pack-n-Play Crib or a Refrigerator. If you would like to use your room charging privileges, you may provide a Major Credit Card to be associated with your room. For Disney’s use you are also asked to provide an emergency phone number (your cell) and list your estimated check-in and check-out times.
If you have linked reservations or adjoining rooms, please do not do online check in prior to your arrival.
If you check-in online, you can simply hand them your photo ID at the online check-in service desk, and hand them your signed agreement. You will then be given your welcome packet and Key To The World Card. It may save you time waiting in line.

7 Days Prior to your trip:
